Charity Shop Gold or Garbage? Balancing bird Pulse motor idea. I saw this in a charity shop, picked it up, put it down, left the shop and as I was walking an idea came to me about trying to spin it like a pulse motor. I am not sure if I will actually do it, but I thought I would share my idea.
Rotsuoy commented that this is one of the dragons from the animated movie How To Train Your Dragon. It's a bit lower quality toy, so it's hard to recognize, but it is a 2014 McDonald's kids meal toy of Astrid's dragon Stormfly.

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
