@sandrabugler9813العام الماضي I also suffered from endometriosis but it was many years ago. I wasn't diagnosed until I was in my mid thirties. Back then they called it the "working id="hidden1" class="buttons"> woman's disease". I was infertile from it. People did not understand it back then and never believed when you said you were in pain. I'm happy for this younger generation who have all of this help available to them. I am now 72 years young. ....وسعت 516

@Mark_Nadamsالعام الماضي I feel for Bindi. My wife had the same issues. She had a choice of trying to have a child by enduring the pain or give up trying and have a hysterectomy. id="hidden3" class="buttons"> I told her I supported her decision whatever it be. She wanted a child more than anything so she chose the difficult road to try and have a child. She did whatever the doctor told her to help and endured the pain with no guarantees. There was also an outside chance that a pregnancy would do positive things and lessen or eliminate my wife's endometriosis. She (We) were very blessed and she gave birth to our healthy baby daughter 9 months later. Then soon after the birth she was told the pregnancy did nothing for her endometriosis so she had to have a hysterectomy in order to end the pain. ....وسعت 17

@aileenmccarthy8660العام الماضي She is an amazing human being. Steve would be so unbelievably proud. I’m glad to see her share the struggles some women deal with, so we can normalize these disorders, so us women don’t have to suffer in silence. I may have something too, I have extremely heavy periods and I have to get to the docs soon. My husband and mom and friends understand, but jobs don’t!!! ....وسعت 230

@leilaniakona7959العام الماضي I also had endometriosis it started when I was 16 years old and took about 90 vicodin’s a month to control the pain after years of battling this condition I got a total hysterectomy at 32. It was so bad the doctor took pictures and it looked like cancer. I went through change of life at 32 however it was this best thing I could have ever done! God Bless any woman who has to go through this condition! ....وسعت 15

@lea9977العام الماضي OMG I felt this. How many of you have gone to the doctor, the results were normal or inconclusive, so doctors wouldn’t believe you? It is so frustrating! 97

@rykersmimiالعام الماضي I'm so happy she finally got the help she needed and will be feeling so much better. It's absolutely horrible when Dr's don't believe you id="hidden7" class="buttons"> and think you're either "drug seeking" or "disability seeking" to get paid by the government. Both these things were told to me for YEARS as I was seeking HELP for what was plaguing me from multiple Dr's. Finally after 15 yrs an angel of a NP solved the mystery.I had endometriosis, fibroid, and fibromyalgia. Had a hysterectomy, where they discovered the endometriosis had escaped my uterus into my abdomen & fused 2 of my organs together.
I spent the next 2 yrs after my hysterectomy fighting to get my medical records "cleaned up" as multiply Dr's charted that I was "drug seeking" & Dr shopping for said drugs. I NEVER asked once for any drugs for the pain I asked them to make it stop!

@kathyr1516العام الماضي Bindi is so lovely. Praying for her and her beautiful family. I had a hysterectomy when I was a 60 and the Gynaecologist said I had really bad endo id="hidden8" class="buttons">metriosis that was attached to my ureters and other areas. I always had extremely painful, heavy periods and fatigue but thought that was normal. Diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in my forties. So many things we accept as “normal”. Always good to get a diagnosis and help as young as possible. Not married until 41 years old, so no children. Still often finding myself having to make excuses for having no children when asked the “How many children and grandchildren” do we have question.
Sending love and hugs to sweet Bindi.

@trifel45العام الماضي I didn't have endometriosis, but I did have almost constant bleeding. My gynecologist couldn't even do a cervical ultrasound because any time she id="hidden10" class="buttons"> touched the tissue around my cervix, it would bleed. When she did the hysterectomy, she said my uterus was like mush. There was also a cyst on one of my ovaries, so I had one ovary and the uterus removed. Best decision ever! How freeing it was to no longer be bleeding anymore. I too only had one daughter, and she is our special gift from God. I'm happy that Bindi will no longer have to deal with the pain she went through, and I know she will be blessed in her decision. Life is precious. Being pain-free and period-free is amazing! ....وسعت 31

@warroom17العام الماضي I suffered with this along with fibroids and adenomyosis for 20 years. I was also a victim of medical gaslighting and constantly dismissed for exaggerating id="hidden12" class="buttons"> symptoms and pain. It wasn't until I was admitted via ER and was able to pass a 6 inch specimen in my diaper, witnessed by a nurse that I finally had an emergency hysterectomy. The feeling of exoneration was finally received after my Dr profusely apologized and admitted that she was dismissive of my severity because she has dealt with others who overplayed their pain or illness in order to receive state disability or drugs. I hope no one ever has to go through this, but if one does, please fire your Dr before they can do any more damage ....وسعت 192

@pattijackالعام الماضي My doctor let mine go 7 years without being diagnosed. He finally put me in for an enlarged ovary and when I was opened up they found endometriosis had id="hidden13" class="buttons"> taken over all my organs and had encircled my brain which was causing my major headaches. Full hysterectomy at the age of 28. Thankfully I had my son at 21. I am now 72 but that early surgery put my body into something else that was difficult to deal with. Never put all your faith in one doctor, mine appeared to know nothing and in my opinion, he caused this for me. ....وسعت 161

We had trouble having a baby, but thanks to my ob/gym discovered I had endometriosis but never any physical outward symptoms . I was 36 and was started in a medicine called Danazol. It put me in a temporary menopause for 6 months. After getting off of it , we tried 2 cycles and praise God I got pregnant naturally and our daughter is almost 33 and we have 2 beautiful grandsons! @kate2create738العام الماضي I’m grateful she is sharing this, wish I could be able to get answers myself as I too go through painful moments, but was ruled out of endometriosis. Had 1 relative who had it so wanted to see if it was down but the scans didn’t see anything. It makes doing the basic things unbearable sometimes, no drugs are able to calm it, but have to continue.
And having a good support helps a lot, one of my favorites is one of my relative says think of it like you’re fighting a dragon and it surprisingly does help my confidence to fight on. Hope that Bindi can at least find ways to fight through this too, it’s one of those topics that I wish was discussed more because of how much the pain limits so many women.

@sburris65العام الماضي Before I was finally got a diagnosis of endometriosis at 27, I was poked on, prodded, and had 3 surgeries. I was also told it was normal and there was id="hidden26" class="buttons"> nothing wrong with me. I had cyst after cyst rupture. The pain was horrible and affected every part of my body. At 27, I still had a pillow at work to sit on because my flow was so heavy that I still had accidents. I had to keep extra clothes in case I needed to change. When they told me I couldn't have children, I begged for a hysterectomy. That took until I was 35. So my heart goes out to her because I have been in her shoes. ....وسعت 18

I had a laparoscopy and, on my 24th birthday, found out that his suspicions were correct. It was actually the best birthday present ever. It meant I no longer had to endure the monthly suffering. He put me on the Pill and I stayed on it for 20 years. It was not an issue for me to not have children. My heart goes out to Bindi and the other women who have suffered so much. Why wasn't id="hidden68" class="buttons"> hers cured? I just learned to deal with the pain and then menopause happened and I was thrilled to not being pain anymore. ....وسعت 1

@KeenaKindragonالعام الماضي Doctors and the ER are overwhelmed with people faking illnesses to get drugs. Unfortunately, they are jaded and they miss those of us who end up in there id="hidden72" class="buttons"> with some serious condition. You have to fight when you get there and tell them that you are the exception , you’re not there just to get drugs. I wish I had known that advice, spread the word, good job, Bindi. ....وسعت 1
