Even though my love for them started building up recently, I already consider them one of my dearest PH otps! About the mmv, it's fairly simple and short but that's because there are not many scenes of these two together ;__; (I can assure you I used like 99% of them in this) and because I wanted to make sure I'd finish it. My WIP folder is getting bigger and bigger sigh... The idea of this song with these two was Tara's, actually. She was coloring them and started listening to this song on repeat cause it gave her feels and she mentioned it to me, I listened to it as well and boom! So thank you babe!!! :) And about that "ghosty" scene of Rufus near the end, I did that because while Rufus did all he did to protect Cheryl, he had to do that in a crafty, deceiving way. He could not just stand in front of her and protect her from the Baskervilles: he had to deliver the blow himself to make sure they wouldn't kill her; he had to pretend he had betrayed everyone around him; he had to let his own chain get attacked and let the Barma key be destroyed instead of the Rainsworth one. He became selfless to the extreme (having no weapon against Glen!Leo but his fan) yet made everyone around him think he was a selfish bastard. Everyone but Cheryl. She never stopped trusting him, and when the powers of her chain came back to her and she said those words, I believe she could see Rufus in front of her. Frowning, yet always willing to protect the woman he has loved his whole life. And that was my way of representing that. Wow, sorry I just vomited my feelings here but you have no idea how much these two make me suffer. Ehem, on another note, sorry I had to pitch the song AND stretch the rendered video. That's why it doesn't sound quite right, but I didn't have a choice. And since today is my precious Choco's birthday and Soska's was 3 days ago, I dedicate this to you guys. Dunno if you ship these two, but I haven't had much time to edit so the chances of making video gifts are very slim. So here, hope you like it and Happy Birthday!
