We have truly been have a good year for Light Novel to Anime Adaptations. First we have Re Zero Starting Life in Another World Season 2 breaking records... then Mushoku Tensei going above and beyond with its passion. Now we have 86 Eighty-Six that has that same level of passion and love put into it. Seriously this series is a masterpiece and I need more of it. We did not have any rush and id="hidden2" class="buttons"> the adaptation is close to perfection.
It really is what I hope LN adaptation will receive, a gold standard that others would follow.

BTW Chibi, if you do plan on reading light novels.

@jdoggivjcمنذ 3 سنوات What made season 1 of 86 so great wasn't just the faithfulness of the adaptation of the LN, but the quality of the anime original content that was id="hidden14" class="buttons"> used in nearly every episode. Whenever anime original content is discussed, it's usually in how it changed the adaptation of the source material, whether for the better or (usually) for the worse. But that's not what happened with the anime original content in 86 - it didn't change the adaptation; it expanded upon it while remaining faithful to the LN. In nearly episode we'd get both Lena's and Shin's perspective on a given scene - one of those perspectives was always anime original. Also, much of episodes 10 and 11 of Spearhead's journey, from the stop in the abandoned Giadian Empire town and zoo to the overnight stay in the school - that was all anime only expansion of Spearhead's scout mission. It didn't change how the story was being told, but it gave us information that wasn't told in the LN.
The quality of the anime original adaptation is something I'm really looking forward to in season 2. The reason for this is based on the end of season 1, believe it or not, Asato doesn't write a whole lot about Lena's side of the story in volumes 2 and 3, which is a real shame because what little of it she did write really has most of us LN readers wanting a whole lot more, and as someone who reads and watches this series I'm one of those that hopes that the anime gives this to us in anime original content. ....وسعت 3

I also liked the decision to just id="hidden28" class="buttons"> adapt 1st volume of the Light Novel. Opposed to the standard 3-4 volumes per 12 episodes of anime light novel adaptation. There was no happy ending, no encounter, no deus id="hidden31" class="buttons"> ex machina coming out of nowhere. It was just the brutal reality of the world they live in. Also, there's a very clear theme in the story with a "race" thinking they are superior to another and using them as guinea pig to protect their own status quo. The anime adaptation has surpassed all my expectations, and I loved the original id="hidden32" class="buttons"> scenes that were added. That being said, anime only watches will be in for a massive surprise in part 2. Furthermore, part 1 doesn't exactly cover all of book one since it omits the epilogue. @Aman_Mondalمنذ 3 سنوات Yeah I agree with you on everything this gave me the Anohana feels but comparing Mushoku Tensei with this is kinda unfair because we haven't got the id="hidden34" class="buttons"> second season but for the Mushoku Tensei there is the manga and Mushoku Tensei is way better in terms of story for now because I have read the manga so I know about it but 86 is still known to me for now but another show like that is Mashiro no Oto the first season barely started the journey of the Shamisen player and I want a second season to that too because the manga has not been translated yet ....وسعت 6
