@HartB263543 years ago I love it when sometimes all you say is "and..." he goes right to the next gait. Tara you're the best and Farouk is such a good boy. Totally understand about Steve's back. What a great ride Tara and Steve 🚀😀🥕🐴💞 ... 4

@karenperkins79153 years ago Wonderful ride! For a moment there, I thought Farouk was about to jump that "snake hose"! 😁 3

@pennytriggs293 years ago I enjoyed that! You and Steve will both be tired after that ride, and I hope Steve's back recovers quickly. Both Farouk and Apollo did well at that pace over 10 miles ... especially given they haven't been out on many rides lately. It was a really nice variety of terrain and seemed like a lovely day. Everyone was very friendly, even the cows! Thank you for taking us along. ... 2

@ksanurse3 years ago Lovely head shots of Farouk even if he was taking a whizz😁. And the flowers everywhere-divine! 1

@geniemichel42453 years ago Terrific 6 part video series! The 4 of you travelled at a smart pace….10 miles in 2 hours 20 minutes! Most riders were still out on the course judging from the number of horse boxes waiting in the field. The event definitely increased Apollo’s fitness level. 🥰🐴🥰. Farouk was eager to race Brother Wind, but wanted to please his Mum more! Hope your sore backs recover quick! Kudos! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 ... 3

@pattirockgarden44233 years ago Great time! Farouk did very well, & so did Apollo. Good job! 1

@juliescott94853 years ago Such a great ride, one of the best with stunning and idyllic countryside all the way. Farouk was a good boy and lovely to see his gentle face and soulful eyes at the end. I empathise with Steve and his sore back - a good lie down and relax is in order. Hope it's better soon. Still nice seeing glimpses of you and Apollo striding elegantly out! 💕🐎💕🐎💕 ... 2

@wendytaylor40303 years ago 🐴🐴💙...Yes! Well done Farouk slowing your canter just on the voice! You could see how smooth a transition it was!!🐎😍.. "Hi Cows!"🐄🐄☺❤😂...2nd beautiful transition from a gallop!...😂 "Now that was a Big Snake"🐍says Farouk!😂... Steve🏃‍♂️ your being a Trooper throughout this!👊 10 miles atop of a Horse is very challenging!🥰...That's interesting, and awful sweet, a Dad taking His Daughter around on Her Pony!☺🥰🏃‍♂️🐎💕...Another! This time a Family!💕...Make that 2 Families!😍 That was totally Cool!😎...Farouk doesn't appear to be that sweaty! To Him that 10 miles was nothing!💪Again, Best 2021 Ride of them All!💞 I hope you do this one again!...Each segment of this series was AMAZING!♥️ and the Countryside, breathtaking every step of the way!!😍 Absolutely LOVED this!!🐎🐎♥️♥️ Thank you ever so much for sharing and All take care!🙏🥰🤗🤗🐶🖤🤎...🐴🐴💙 ... 2

@sandyl24933 years ago Okay. I’m officially a fan of Farouk the Arabian & this video cinches 🤣 the deal. I said before he was growing on me. How NORMALLY I’m not fond of Arabians. I just watched him came back on a verbal command! And you could tell he was just warming up. He WANTED TO GO!!! Simply superb Tara, superb. ... 2

@lindalala58133 years ago I don't know how Steve does it..Nothing worse than back pain..main reason why I can no longer ride. God Bless him and Apollo! Farouk did so well today! Beautiful ride..thank you for taking me along! 8

@sarahcooper33783 years ago What a great ride. And good weather too. Love seeing the little ones, brings back so many memories of my first pony, a piebald Shetland. She was quite the little s**t and would lie down if she didn't want to go! Learnt so much about riding in those early years. My parents must have walked miles with my sister and I. ... 5

@karenlugg823 years ago Brilliant fun ride, I bet you were first back.
Farouk still looked as fresh as a daisy and still spooky, the hose pipe snake was funny.
Farouk thank goodness we’re back I need a wee.
Apollo thank goodness we’re back, keeping up with pocket rocket Farouk is exhausting.

@judithaudin8893 years ago That was a lovely ride. It was quite interesting to see how many parents/families walked the path and led their little ones on ponies. I hope they had a shorter path than 10 miles. 7

@bobbiemooser74173 years ago Farouk’s hoof sounds at the walk, on the road - are so delicate and light. That’s an Arabian for you. And when he gallops, he flies, literally flies. That was a HUGE snake pipe. 😳 What a brave boy. 3
  • @
@christinemartindale87153 years ago Very nice 2 hrs and 20 minutes ride out poor Steve you need a long radox bath for that back of yours I thought you were very quiet 🤐 hope you’ll be alright. The boys were very good indeed great video tfs.😎 6

@janegoldstein81103 years ago Believe me when I tell you that I feel for your brother. I have several very big operations on my back that were extremely painful. It took me an entire year to get better from the last one in 2006. I had to wear a big plastic body cast all through the summer in Florida.
They also wanted me to walk at least 2 miles a day. At first my Allen would accompany me, but then he waited for me to complete my walk and return home. I knew how hard it was because he was not well either. He Would be waiting for me on our ramp, and cheer me on
for the last 200 yards. I don’t know what I would have done without him. I lost him a few years later, and miss him to this very day Jane

@noralu17343 years ago Heya, that was a nice fun ride. How long have I not seen these. And you asking if it’s alright to pass the other riders. It always reminds me of this impossible woman who said no and shut the gate in front of you. Jerks are everywhere, sadly.
Awww, I heard Farouk his little sigh ❤️
Bless you, dear Tara, for all the things you do ❤️

@rhondatippy48793 years ago Great ride! Steve I hope your back is feeling better. 6
  • @
@jennielaw63293 years ago Awww Faroukles....when you've gotta go...you've GOTTA go! At least it wasn't a roadside wee 🤗🤭 Both horses were total superstars for this whole outing. Yes Farouk had a few spookies here and there, but never anything major. He was worried about tractor tyre prints but happily cantered through corridor after corridor of white cow parsley 😂 Hero Apollo was steadfast and magnificent as always! I'm currently recovering from spinal surgery, so can empathize with 'Steve The Legend' when he was trying to relieve pressure on his back.......I must admit, until your explanation Tara.....I just assumed poor Legend Steve had a sore arse 😁
As ever, thankyou Tara for sharing 🤗😍

@Sugaree433 years ago Good long ride. Everyone slept good this night I bet. I hope Steve's back handled it well. You could see the relief in Farouks face 🤣 Bummer Steve's camera wasn't working . 6
  • @
@madelineevans1283 years ago Hi Tara and Steve, That was a most enjoyable ride. I imagine the long piddles are better on the ground than in the trailer box. LOL! I know Farouk has amazing endurance but was Apollo tired at the end of the ride? I hope Steve's back gets better. He should carry an ice pack in a cooler bag for the trip home. My back is fine but my knees give me a lot of grief; even the one that was replaced last August. I bet the boys had a nice shower later and yummy lunch. Take care. ... 3
