@rcaviationgamingandrealwor9392منذ 4 سنوات Yep, I agree with the 49" monitor.I'm using a 50" monitor and a 49" monitor with an additional vertical Dell 27" monitor. Now id="hidden2" class="buttons"> waiting for my newly purchase PC hardware from Newegg to arrive. I started creating a YouTube page and an enhanced cockpit as yours.so much to do, so much $$$ but it will be worth it at the end. ....وسعت 1

@vscolkittمنذ 2 سنوات Thank you for purchasing a 49" ultra wide monitor and Trackir 5 Pro! I've been looking for someone with both the Trackir 5 Pro and the 49" id="hidden3" class="buttons"> monitor combo! Purchased Samsung's 49 " at Xmas. I love the 49" monitor but MSFS2020's hat switch options, . not so much! I replaced my three 27" screens around Xmas time with a 49" UW monitor. I love the emersion factor of the HP G2 VR headset but the emersion factor goes away quickly when you have to lift off the headset to change your Logitech Radios or the Rotary knobs on Altimeter Motives Laser Cut Cessna 172 Panel! The Trackir 5 appeared to be the practical answer. I can see (from the video), it is working pretty well for you. I'm Sold! I'm ordering one immediately! ....وسعت

@vscolkittمنذ 2 سنوات I thoroughly agree disliking green eggs and ham! I trained for and received my Private Pilot license in a Cessna 172. I never looked out the side window id="hidden4" class="buttons"> in a real 172 and had the upper half my view blocked by the wing, then, (one tap downward with the hat switch), and see lower half my view blocked by the door! ....وسعت

@wlbear2570منذ 4 سنوات Hi buddy, I see you have a vrinsight combo. How did you make it work with the new sim? I manage to make it work with p3d v4 with LINDA but no drivers are id="hidden5" class="buttons"> yet available for the new sim. I believe are developing one though. VRinsight hardware is fantastic but the tech support is virtually non existent and haven’t updated the drivers since 2016. Nice setup btw ✌ ....وسعت

@vscolkittمنذ 2 سنوات Have you considered assigning "Landing View" & "Normal View" on your Alpha yoke? I assigned these to my Alpha Yoke, Button 1 and id="hidden6" class="buttons"> 2 (I think?) and Button 3 to "Outside View" (I think?) I only need the keyboard (to start up fs2020), and the keyboard's ESC (to quit and return to main MSFS2020 menu!) I like hitting the landing view just for a better overall outside view. Since I'm using Altimeter Motive's 172 Panel, (with all the instruments and radios on it), I click my Alpha Yoke's button 1 for the landing view, then zoom in until only the glare shield is barely visible. (no instruments on the ultra wide). My instruments are All displayed on the 24" monitor lying directly behind the Altimeter Motive's panel. using Air Manager to drop them down onto the 24" panel . (so my 49" monitor is all Outside View).
I believe the real Cessna 172 cockpit panel is about 40 inches in width, (so the real 172's windshield is probably a little wider, maybe around 44"), so a 49" monitor isn't too extreme from the real thing? (It'd probably be just about perfect with a little bit more curved radius).
    Anyhow, love your commentaries!
Have you considered building a cockpit panel to display your radios? The Altimeter Motive's laser cut panel includes: . bezeled instrument cutouts. rotary knobs. an arduino board (to run all the rotary knobs for the instruments that use them). and a clock with working buttons. It sells for around $400. My 24" monitor ran around $200 (1920x1080). Air Manager about $85? . Probably the best money I've ever spent for the truest "realistic simulator emersion".

@georgestephenopolous5508منذ 4 سنوات You have to move your eyepoint up for better landings. I notice you can barely see the runway with the default view. Since these are all visual approaches id="hidden7" class="buttons"> anyway you don't need the glass. If you're willing to turn your settings down you can actually have your viewport extend to your bottom display using Simple Runtime Window Editor by changing the size of the window to something like 3440x2880 (or 1440+whatever is the pixel height of your bottom monitor). That way you can adjust the view to have the instruments down there naturally and the scenery up top. ....وسعت 1

@marcusmaunula5018منذ 4 سنوات I used my TV for awhile (55 inch 4k) but I realise that you also need a powerful card to drive it properly. I am ok with my regular screen for now, until I get a better gfx card.
  • منذ 4 سنوات I found the cabin views pretty easy to save.
I have about a half dozen buttons mapped to various custom views. Using Ctrl+Alt+1/2/3 etc I can id="hidden9" class="buttons"> easily save to whichever button I want and change them on the fly in a heartbeat. I never played any other flight sim though so I don't know if or how they do it better.

@egiljenstad4763منذ 2 سنوات Hi. What is your settings on the monitor? I get some stretched instrumens on my 49 monitor.

@rickjubraj5555منذ 3 سنوات Dissagree with you totally on the camera system, I think it’s fantastic, you r the first one I heard complain about the camera angles, most people who play this game is all about sight seeing and enjoying the views, so having that flexibility on the viewing is amazing, let’s face it this game is all about exploring and sight seeing. ....وسعت 2

@emileguertinمنذ 2 سنوات Wow, you appear to have no distortion at the sides of the screen. How? I am running FS2020 on my Samsung 49" ultrawide and it distorts at the edges.

@AdamJPestridgeمنذ 4 سنوات the control system and camera views were one of the things I sent complaints about in the Alpha stage, as did others from what I hear. Not sure whilst id="hidden14" class="buttons"> they didnt re-work it at all. your set up looks cool and Id be up for some group flying using discord if ya fancy it at any time? ....وسعت 1

@TheUrfمنذ 4 سنوات Hello Wallace, very nice Flight Setup :), which mounting system do you use here for your monitors?

@papagen00منذ 3 سنوات Hi, I have the same monitor but the flight sim screen is stretched out unless I change to window mode. How do you make it run full screen without stretching? id="hidden16" class="buttons"> Windows graphics setting is 5120×1440 but MSFS settings max out at 1920x1090. Thanks ....وسعت

@chriscrocvlogsمنذ 4 سنوات I’m with you, the view system is horrific. So cumbersome and awful to use. I wish Asobo teamed up with chase plane for the sim.

@rcaviationgamingandrealwor9392منذ 4 سنوات I hate to go to Windows 10 because of all the issues and Windows 7 is so stable. Waiting for delivery of Windows 10, guess Microsoft wins.

@DownTheRabbit-Holeمنذ 3 سنوات I agree about mfs view system. The external views are the worst. Unpredictable, Clunky and disjointed. Using 2 or 3 keys to access custom views is dumb.
Because mfs is not a true multi-monitor, 49 is best. Definitely need the track ir tho. I still feel the best sim experience is 3 wide with air manager touchscreen below with knobster. This does not require a tracking system. I fly on pilotedge ifr where ther is lots of twisting. I have no need for mouse or keyboard. I use g1000 pfd/mfd fms keypad, g700 ap. In x-plane I use Phenom 300. I am rw pilot and istructor. Air manager has been released for mfs but it stutters when pfd/mfd are popped out. Not ready for primetime , yet. God luck
