@d3monsn0wkitty4 years agoThanks for this video! ...what really helps me the best has always been exercise. Specifically running. It’s truly like a natural anti-depressant for me. It’s been really difficult to maintain my normal routine with the gym closed, and I also work in a medical hospital, and things have been stressful there with the covid 19 patients. I’m also in online master classes full-time. So it’s been ridiculously stressful the past few weeks. So this video, and Morgan’s, is definitely motivation for me. I plan on actively trying more ways to exercise at home, and just be easy on myself in these stressful times. Thankfully classes are ending next week so then I’ll be free from school for awhile. I have picked up journaling the past week, and that’s making a difference too. It stops me from spiraling. Thank you so much for your videos and positive insights. Stay strong everyone. ...1

@melnicole54304 years agoI promised myself that I would do at least ONE productive thing per day and its been helping my depression so much. I tend to struggle getting out of bed and doing basic daily activities when I am going through tough times, and by giving myself a daily task (i.e. organize my dresser), literally gives my brain the boost that it needs. You’re videos also give me tons or hope and ideas! My goal today is to practice Mindfulness. Thank you 🙏🏼 ...1

@changbinhyung67884 years agothis video was super inspiring!!! i do have one thing, though (maybe a video topic?), how does one go about choosing happiness? i hear my own therapist and other mental health channels talk about depression and choosing happiness, but what does that mean? it's a little difficult to just choose happiness for me, so, does that just mean choosing to do different stuff than usual? how do i know what makes me happy? this video is def something ill be discussing with my therapist next time i see her but id love to see you make a video about it too! ...

@thaisramos71644 years ago(first of all, sorry for my bad english and a big "HI FROM BRAZIIIL") My therapist said that we are our own lowyers against anxiety but at the same time we are the judge and the person on trial witch for me means that in a hard situation we can say and act against it being the lawyer, come up with a conclusion being the judge and deal with the conclusions or paying for our sentences being the person on trial So I don't have depression BUT whenever my anxiety is hitting really hard I do things reeeeally slow like walking and talking until the point it gets boring is like saying to my mind "you can rush as much as you want to BUT WE ARE MOVING SLOWLY BITCH" and it always helped me cause during that, I stop myself from rushing things or doing things without thinking or letting my anxiety take over me... after some time I (being the lawyer) sit with myself (being the judge) to see what it's happening and what I (being the person on trial) will do to deal with this ...1
