Ingredients needed:
Broccoli - 1 cup
For Batter:
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
Maida - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Green chilli - 2 silt into halves
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Soya sauce - 1/4 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Big onion chopped like flower petals
Capsicum - 1
Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
Spring onion - 1 tablespoon
Method:
Boil water in a pan.
Add broccoli and boil for 3-4 minutes.
Strain it in the strainer.
Add the ingredients under 'For batter' in a vessel.
Add little water and mix it. Batter should not be too liquid. Add broccoli and
batter should get coated on all sides of broccoli.
Fry broccoli in oil till it turns golden brown.
Take it out from oil and keep it in a tissue paper to absorb extra oil if it has.
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and green chilli.
Add onion and capsicum and saute it.
Close the pan with a lid for 2-3 minutes.
Keep the flame in high and add soya sauce and saute it.
Add broccoli and saute it for few minutes and adjust salt at this stage.
In a small vessel, mix cornstarch with water.
Keep in high flame, add cornstarch mixture and give a quick stir.
Broccoli manchurian is ready.
Add spring onions for garnish.
Keep it in a serving bowl and Broccoli manchurian is ready to eat.
